The old Chinese proverb of “May you live in interesting times…” is definitely one that describes my life story. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Goleta California (about 2 hours north of Los Angeles). I grew up blessed with two amazing parents which is where my Nordic features come from, but also the super analytical skills from my father who is a retired engineer (no he still can’t communicate to save his life)! Over the course of my life, I have been privileged with so many interesting yet some would say crazy experiences. I have had the chance to learn languages by immersion in another country, I have been proposed to in a tribal village (yes even in the 21st century), and even worked with violent psychiatric patients, but my passion is the automotive industry that I have been privileged to call my career since October 2019. I have been given the moniker of “The Crazy Viking” but I pride myself on just being a person. The thing I love about my job is the fact that I have laughed, prayed, cried, and celebrated all while serving people and helping solve their problems, regardless of when I sell them a car!!!
